3rd Annual Market Art Contest
The Port Orchard Farmers Market (POFM) is holding our 3rd Annual Market Art Contest! We are looking for artists of all experience levels to create artwork inspired by the farmers market to be featured throughout the 2026 season. The winning design will be showcased on posters, market bags + merchandise, on social media, and other promotional materials.
THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE:
$200 in Port Orchard Farmers Market tokens -- to be used with ANY vendor!
A market bag featuring your artwork.
Recognition on our website, newsletter, and social media accounts.
The warm fuzzy feeling of helping out a local nonprofit with your talents – and the joy of seeing your design out and about in Port Orchard!
DESIGN CRITERIA: All artwork must be original!
Three colors maximum. This design will be screen printed, each shade of a color needs to be set up, and thus counts as a color.
The following text (within your design): “Port Orchard Farmers Market” and “2026”. There is no apostrophe in “Farmers Market”
You may include your name in the design.
Submission format:
Digital Art: 300 dpi Vector File (.ai .eps .pdf or .svg)
Hand Rendered Art: 300-600dpi scan in .pdf (your art should fill an 8 ½ x 11-inch paper)
If selected, the original artwork must be available to be scanned by the screen printer.
You may submit up to two designs for consideration.
DESIGN RESTRICTIONS:
Do NOT use photos, stock images or clip art, or AI generated art/content
Do NOT submit copyrighted work
Do NOT include graphic/offensive art or images, all works must be family friendly
TO ENTER:Submissions are due by January 30, 2026 at 11:59PM
Include your full name in your submission email along with your contact info (email/phone).
If your design is selected, we reserve the right to use your design in any manner, including but not limited to: reproducing the design, selling items bearing the design, changing or reworking the design by making color or size changes, making derivative works of the design, using the design on the Port Orchard Farmers Market website and on promotional materials.
